Guidance & Path provides information, profile assessment and support for prospective MRes and PhD applicants. Services may include research-direction guidance, opportunity and supervisor mapping, document feedback, interview preparation and general application support.

Using the service
By using the website, submitting an assessment form or booking a consultation, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 16 years old, or use the service with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
Appointments and communication
You are responsible for providing accurate contact details and checking appointment information, including the date, time and time zone. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please contact us as early as reasonably possible.
A submitted form or booking request does not by itself create a paid advisory agreement. Any paid scope, fee, delivery date or refund terms should be confirmed separately in writing before work begins.
Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- provide complete, accurate and up-to-date information;
- review every document and submission before it is sent;
- verify requirements, deadlines, fees and policies with official institutions;
- attend appointments respectfully and use the service lawfully; and
- make your own final academic, financial and travel decisions.
No guaranteed outcome
We do not guarantee admission, supervisor interest, scholarships, stipends, funding, interviews, visas or any other outcome. Results depend on your profile and work, competition, institutional priorities and decisions made by independent third parties.
Academic integrity
Our role is to guide and support your own work. You remain the author of your application and research materials. We will not knowingly assist with plagiarism, fabricated credentials, false statements, impersonation or other academic or application misconduct.
Intellectual property
The website, brand, original guides and service materials belong to Guidance & Path or their respective licensors. You may use materials supplied to you for your personal application, but may not reproduce, resell or distribute them commercially without written permission.
You retain ownership of documents you provide and permit us to use them only as reasonably necessary to deliver the requested service.
Third-party services and links
The website may connect to third-party services such as calendar, email, university and LinkedIn pages. Their availability, content and data practices are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party decisions or services outside our control.
Availability and liability
We aim to keep our information accurate and services available, but cannot promise that the website will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Guidance & Path is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on general information, missed third-party deadlines or decisions made by institutions and authorities.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
