In short

We use your information to assess your research profile, arrange consultations and communicate with you. We do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide when you request a free assessment, contact us or book a consultation. This may include:

  • your name, email address, phone number and country code;
  • your country of residence and preferred study destinations;
  • your academic history, qualifications, research interests and intended degree;
  • your preferred appointment date and time; and
  • messages, documents or other details you choose to share.

We may also receive basic technical information, such as browser type, device type and site usage data, when needed to keep the website secure and working correctly.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • review your profile and provide relevant MRes or PhD guidance;
  • respond to enquiries and arrange or manage appointments;
  • send booking confirmations, welcome messages and service updates;
  • maintain service records and improve our guidance and website;
  • prevent misuse, protect our systems and comply with legal obligations.

When information is shared

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share only what is necessary with trusted providers that support services such as website hosting, databases, email delivery and calendar booking. They are expected to process information securely and only for the requested service.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights or safety, or as part of a business reorganisation. We do not send your profile to a university, supervisor or other third party without your direction or consent.

Storage and retention

Information may be processed or stored in countries other than your own, depending on the providers used to operate the service. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.

We retain information only while it is reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. When it is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it where practical.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, or withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. You may also opt out of non-essential messages at any time.

To make a request, email us using the contact details below. We may need to verify your identity before completing it.

Cookies and site preferences

The website may use essential browser storage to remember preferences such as light or dark mode and to support core functionality. If analytics or other non-essential tracking is introduced, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated.

Children’s privacy

Our services are intended for prospective higher-education applicants and are not directed to children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, please contact us so we can review and remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The latest version will always appear on this page with its effective date.
